The Cahuita National Park Tour begins at the entrance of Playa Blanca (White Beach)
and continues on to the beautiful destination of Punta Cahuita. The National Park is
58,836 acres of biologically diverse Marine Park containing wildlife that moves continu-
ously according to the climate, temperature and lunar stations.
The National Park is a wonderful way to escape either by walking on the beach near
the beautiful blue waters or by following the park trail through the lush forest. You may
see and hear a variety of wildlife along the trail such as Howler and Capuchin monkeys,
sloths, snakes, a variety of lizards and many more.
You will embark on a four-hour hike for a total of seven kilometers through the park with a
Cahuita native and naturalist. Our guide will take the time to explain the natural healing
capabilities of various plants while sharing their knowledge of the wildlife along the trail.
On your way back you can enjoy a refreshing swim at Playa Blanca.
